Ulpan Aviv's newest initiative -- Ulpan Aviv, London -- took place in November 2009 where British citizens from throughout the city participated.  Over a period of two weeks, they learned to converse in Hebrew with confidence and intelligence. 

 

Ulpan Aviv is not just another ulpan. Rather it is a program that has you speaking Hebrew -- regardless of your level of understanding, background or experience with the language -- from the outset.

Working in cooperation with Israel's leading Aliyah agencies, Ulpan Aviv created a dynamic program for students from all over the world who are living, working, studying or volunteering in Israel.  

 

Like all of Ulpan Aviv's programs, upon completion of the intensive Hebrew language course, participants were able to converse in Hebrew with confidence and ease and speak with their Israeli contemporaries on any subject.

 

More than being able to converse in the language, participants gained a new insight into Israeli society, culture and way of life.  They were able to feel  the pulse and rhythm of the country in a way that they never felt before -- no matter how often they had visited before, or how much time they had been living in the country.
