Learning a new language is definitely a process. It is a process that takes effort, patience, good training, and sometimes even thinking outside the box. Since we already have one (and sometimes even more than one) dominant language we are used to, it is challenging to be able to acquire a new language, which might work differently and that has different procedures in it.

Modern Hebrew is originated from the Biblical Hebrew. Many of the things we find in Modern Hebrew are taken straight from the scriptures and sometimes might go through a little adaptation according to the rules we have in Hebrew nowadays.

That is the reason why we at Ulpan Aviv formed the virtual knowledge center. Here you could find common questions students have with the answers and also some insights from the Biblical Hebrew we find in the Torah.

If you have any question you would like to ask about Hebrew, please feel free to write us to: gil@ulpanaviv.com
