Gil Pentzak, Director of Ulpan Aviv, earned his degree in linguistics from Bar Ilan University, specializing in syntax, ‘language and aging,’ and ‘acquisition of a second language.’ Initially intrigued by therapy, he delved into ‘therapy in education-based learning difficulties’ and ‘linguistics and therapy’ before shifting to teaching Hebrew and assuming leadership over Ulpan Aviv's activities.
